We're off to see the Wizard!!!!!!!

We (Tammi, Will, Jack, Charlie, Tiffany, Taylor, Max, Joey, Cassie, Sarah, Ian, Ryan and Grandma) all went to Sleepy Hollow Park for the Wizard of Oz. That is one of my favorite movies, so I was very excited to go. We have been to several musicals at sleepy hollow and they do such an awesome job. I knew it would be good. We went and got Subway for supper and brought it along to eat while we waited. We did get a little rain, but no one seemed to mind too much. The only bad thing was that it was soooooo cold, it was about 56'. Let me tell you we were all freezing. Who would think in the middle of July we would all be cuddling under blankets and drinking hot chocolate. Other then that, it was awesome. The musical started at 8:30pm and went until 11:00pm with a short intermission. Everyone had so much fun. It is amazing what a good job they do. The special effects were really good. All the kids seemed to agree that the lion was their favorite charcter. Will thought Dorothy was "hot". I loved the scarecrow, but everyone was so good. I sure hope you you had the chance to attend, if not you will want to go next summer. I am not sure what they will do, but I know it will be good.
thanks for checking in on us.

Hello all!
Oh do we love company! I promised I would post about when my mom, my sister (Tiffany), niece Taylor (10 yrs) and nephews: Max (4) and Joey (2) were in Linton. We had such a good time, I wish they could have stayed longer. They all arrived on Sunday afternoon. It was a very nice day, so we decided to head for the pool. Grandma stayed back and made a cake to have with dinner.....boy was it good! The pool was awesome, and really felt good. The boys all had fun playing in the pool with all the toys. We had a barbeque at our house in the evening. We played cards and stayed up a little too late. Monday was yucky weather, it rained and rained all day. We decided to go to Bismarck a day early. We stayed at the Ramkota hotel. It was nice and fun, but the pool area sucked, at least I thought it did. The pool area was soooooooo slippery, all the kids fell, Joey and Max got hurt a little. The slide area is too small. there were a lot of bigger kids going down the slide and then would crash into us. they have 2 smaller slides off to one side, when Jack slid down he slid right into a guy and hurt his cheek. Anyway we had fun. The kids all had so much fun playing with each other, it is not too often were are all together. Tuesday, Will attended the football camp in Bismarck through the University of Mary, this is his 4 year and he loves it. When he was done we went to Olive Garden for lunch. YUMMY!!!!! We took the kids to Sertoma Park to go on rides. Tuesday night we went to the Sleepy Hollow Park for "The Wizard of OZ" I will post on that later, I will tell you now, it was awesome. Wednesday morning, my family headed back to Minnesota. I am so glad that they came to stay, it had been way to long between visits. It was nice for my mom to spend time with all of her grandchildren at one time. Everyone got along and had a good time. I hope they will come back again soon. We miss them already.

baseball is over

hello all
I hope your weekend is filled with fun times... We had our last baseball games today, we had a tournament in Napoleon. It was a great day and both Linton teams did very well. Will has been pitching more and more and really loves it. He had a hit every time at bat, except one stike out. Way to go Will. It was a beautiful day to sit back and relax and enjoy some baseball. I was kind of sad because baseball is over. That means that summer is 1/2 over. I love watching the boys play ball. Jack has his t-ball tournament on Monday night, then we are officially done with the 2009 season. After we got home, we loaded up and went to the pool for a couple hours. The boys have a ball at the pool. I like to relax too. We are all just being lazy now and waiting for bedtime to arrive. It is almost bath time and then off to bed.. YEAH!!!!

Tomorrow is another big day. We are getting ready for our company to arrive. My mom (Kathy) and sister (Tiffany) and her kids (Taylor, Max and Joey) are coming to Linton for a few days. The boys are so excited to have their cousins come and play. We have lots planned. I will post later next week about our adventures and post some pictures also.

Thanks for checking on us. We will chat again later!

Happy Birthday Paul

Happy Birthday to the greatest husband, friend, and father. Today is Paul's "40th" birthday. I wish I was more on the ball because I have some great pictures of him that should have appeared in the paper today. Oh well, no embarrassing him this year. We are going to celebrate with the Browns, (Doug, Sarah, Ian and Ryan). We are all going to the Olive Garden for supper and then, if it doesn't rain, go and ride some go-carts. We are having a little birthday party at work, with his favorite cake....german chocolate with coconut pecan frosting....thanks Sylvia! Then off to Bismarck for shopping and dinner. Thanks for the awesome balloons from our friends Cassie and Kameron, "Over the Hill"!!!! He was surprised.

Happy Birthday Paul, I hope you have a great day!
I love you!

Happy 4th of July!!!!!

Will and Charlie at the parade

Jack and Lori throwing candy in the parade

Kameron in his derby car at the beginning of the 1st heat!!

The boys names on Kameron's derby car, they were very excited to have their names on it.
Hope everyone had a great 4th. We had so much fun and such a busy day. We started out the day by going to the parade at 10:00am. Jack rode with Lori for the Linton hospital and clinic. He LOVED throwing out candy. The parade was a lot of fun, awesome floats and Charlie and Will got lots and lots of candy. We met back at the Methodist church for lunch. They always have lunch after the parade. We had sloppy joes, beans, cole slaw, pickles and chips. It was very good and we were all hungry. We went home and got ready for the derby! I was very excited to go to the derby this year, I haven't been to the derby for 9 years. I was always home with one of the boys because they were too little. We decided to take Charlie with and he absolutly loved it. It was a perfect day, not too hot and a little breeze. I think it was so fun because our friend Kameron was in the derby. Paul sponsored Kameron, so he put Myers Funeral Home on the drivers side and Will, Jack and Charlie got to paint there names on the back of the car. they thought that was pretty awesome. We all cheered and cheered for Kameron and he took 3rd. Whoo Hooo way to go!

We had a barbeque at our house with about 15 people. We had some great food....burgers, hotdogs, potato salad, taco salad, pasta salad, beans, fruit, cupcakes, cheesecake, deviled eggs, and liver pate'. Oh everything was so good! Thanks everyone for bringing something to share. Everyone was miserably full.

We had about 40 people over for fireworks. those boys are crazy, they shot off fireworks for 2 1/2 hours. They had a great display. We had such a great time. See ya all next year.
