Summer is here!!!

We have been having such a good summer. We are very busy. Will has been playing baseball and having practice everyday. He had basketball camp already and has been loving it all. He really loves baseball. He mostly plays on the B team, but has played some A games. He is usually catcher or first base. He did try pitching a couple times and seemed to like it. We think he is really good, he has hits at each game. He has had 4 triples...whooo hooo Will. Jack has been busy with t-ball. he has had to sub for a captain, he loves that. He wears all his baseball stuff and looks pretty official. He goes up to the school on Wednesdays and does a jr gardener program. He helps weed, and he planted veggies. Last week he was able to eat a few things from the garden. We have been to the pool several times. Last week we all got a little too much sun, a little red and discomfort for a couple days. I did put sunscreen on, but didn't reapply in the afternoon. "Hello mom, what were you thinkin?" Oh well we are all better now, just a little dead skin coming off. Charlie is loving summer, he loves to play in his little pool, play on the swingset, run on the slip and slide, and ride his bike (thanks sarah for the bike). He wants to be outside ALL day!

We had a small vacation. We went to Fargo for a Redhawks game, which unfortunately was rained out. Hopefully we can go to a game this summer, we were all pretty disappointed. We went to Grand Forks with Greg (Paul's brother) and Nancy (Paul's sister) and her family. We did some shopping and the boys went to the sprint car races. We ended our mini vacation in Minot.
It is so much fun to get away, but so tough to catch up on sleep.

Today is little Lulu's 1st birthday. We went over to the Anderson's for a birthday party! We had dinner and cake and ice cream. Everyone had a great time. I can't believe she is already 1. The year went by so fast. It is amazing how she has brought so much happiness and love. She is such a special little girl to my whole family. We think of her as part of our family. Thanks for sharing her with us Lori. We love you guys. Hope you have a great day sweetie!

Jack was very excited!

Jack turned 8 on May 31. He has had two parties to celebrate. We had a party in Minot with the Sannes'. He had a lot of fun. We had a barbeque - thanks Brenda- and a John Deere Cake, a jumping castle, presents and lots of fun with family. We were in Minot because Lucas graduated from high school on Sunday...Congrats Lucas!!!!! May 31 is also Stetsons birthday, so they had a party together.


Tuesday we had a party in Bismarck with a few of Jack's friends. We arrived in Bismarck at 3:30 and went on rides, played miniture golf, rode on more rides, had McDonalds for supper in the park, opened presents and had cake. We were back in Linton at 8:00pm. It was a very fun day. Jack had an awesome party.


Happy birthday my little Jacky. You are such a sweet boy. You always know how to make everyone laugh. Your smile is very contagious. You always know how to make everyone around you laugh and smile. We love you and hope you had an awesome day.
