Happy Birthday Will

hello
We have another birthday in our house. Will is 12 years old! Wooohooo. I am so amazed at how fast they grow, it truly seems like yesterday we brought him home. I told him yesterday that I think that 12 years ago that day was the happiest day of my life. I am amazed at how much I can remember of his birth and how excited and happy we were. You have made us very happy and so proud to have you as our son. I was very excited to have all three of the boys, but Will was the first and that was so exciting you were the start of our awesome family.
We had a great day, Will had some friends over to stay over night on Friday night, they had a lot of fun! They had a fishing tournament on the Wii. We went to Buffalo Wild Wings (Will's Choice)tonight with the Browns for supper and then over to their house for a Dairy Queen Cake, it was awesome.
I want to wish Will a very happy birthday and thank him for being such a great kid. He is so responsible and helpful. He is always willing to help me out. He loves to watch Charlie and will do any chore I ask of him. thanks for being a big help to daddy and I. We hope you have a great birthday. We love you very much and we are so proud of you. mom and dad XXOO

Happy Birthday Charlie

I can't believe my little baby is 4. Where does the time go, he sure isn't a baby anymore, but will always be my baby. I just love to watch him do things or tell me something. He puts so much emotion into what he does and his facial expressions are priceless! Paul and I were thinking back to the day he was born, we remembered everything about the day. We were so happy to see him and a little surprised he was a boy! I was so excited for his brothers to meet him, they were so excited too. they couldn't wait for us to come home, they used to sit by his bassinet and just watch him.
I kept telling him today, "Charlie, I can't believe you are 4" he would smile and hold up 4 fingers. He was so happy to have a party and get presents, he knows now what birthdays are all about. Grandma Sannes came this past weekend to stay and celebrate Charlie's birthday. He was excited to have her here. We had a little party with cake and presents this weekend. We are planning to go to Fargo this next weekend, but they are predicting another blizzard so we will have to wait and see what happens. I want to post pictures but for some reason it won't let me. If I figure out what is wrong, I will post some pictures soon.

Happy Birthday Charlie, we love you little man.

Baby it is cold outside!!!!!

Burrrrrrrr! It is so cold today, my jacket is crunchy. It is about -19' and supposed to be colder tomorrow. The weatherman says tomorrow morning the temp will probably be -30' to -40' actual air temperature. Holy cow, that is cold! The boys had school one hour late this morning. They were excited, actually hoping school wopuld be canceled. No such luck, they had school. They had no outside recess, so they will be crazy when they get home. They just don't get rid of their energy when they don't go outside. We are almost finished taking our Christmas things down. What a project, I LOVE putting it up, but do not like taking it down. I do love after it is down the house seems so clean. Charlie was kind of sad when he saw me taking the tree apart. He said, that Santa was going to come back. He didn't understand that it would be a long time before he comes back again. So cute. He does seem to understand that Santa won't come if we do not have a Christmas tree! I just love the sweet inocence of a 3 year old, everything just seems so simple in his world. I wish I could have some of his sweetness and just not worry about the small stuff. I could write a whole post on worrying! Does anyone out there worry about dumb things? How do you get over it and not worry so much, please tell! I try so hard to just let things go, but sometimes it doesn't work.
Oh well, it has been a crazy week. We have been very busy at work. Charlie and I had one of his daycare friends over to our house on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. He loved that and they had so much fun together. It was fun for Charlie to have a friend over.
I better go and get some work done, I have to pick up Will and Jack soon. I didn't have to much to say, but hadn't been blogging lately, so I thought I would just say "Hi". I'll be back again soon! Thanks for checking on us

Happy New Year

WOW!! it has been a long time since I did a post on here. As you can imagine a lot has been going on. We have been very busy and ready for everything to wind down. The boys went back to school today. I am sure they were tired, but I think they were ready to go back.
December was a very busy month. We did a lot of baking and the usual wrapping gifts, decorating the house, sending out Christmas cards and Christmas concerts.
I always love going to the boys Christmas concerts. They have so much fun and love to sing. We did a lot of baking this year. I think this is the most we have ever done and there were still a few things we didn't do.
At the beginning of December we went to Bemidji to see my sister and her family, and my mom. They had just gotten snow, so the kids were all excited to play in the snow. We went to a Bemidji State hockey game. The boys had a blast. We went to celebrate Max's 5th birthday. Hard to believe he is 5 already. He is such a sweetie and so darn cute with his red hair and little freckles across his nose.
We didn't celebrate Christmas with them because it was just way to early to do gifts, so we left theirs there and took ours home.
Christmas was a lot of fun. We ended up getting over a foot of snow, so we had a long family bonding time. Lets say we were in our house for 2 1/2 days. Everyone did just fine. Good thing the boys got some new toys to keep them busy. We played a lot of games and did a lot of shoveling.
My birthday was at the end of the month and we were in Minot. We celebrated by going to the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" movie. It is so cute, you have to go if you haven't seen it yet. The boys all loved it.
New years eve we went to the Linton Foundation 2nd annual gala. It was so much fun. They sure know how to put on a party. The food is awesome, the decorations are amazing and the band is a lot of fun. It is a fundraiser for the Linton Hospital Foundation. We have gone each year and it gets bigger and better each time.
News years day we had friends over for dinner and cards. We also played "Farkle" It is a dice game and it is so much fun. we all love it! It is good for Will and Jack to play because they have to do some adding. A little extra practice doesn't hurt and they are having fun without realizing they are learning math. Ha Ha Ha don't tell them my little secret!!!!!
Now it is back to school for all. Charlie and I are home and one of our daycare friends is at our house today, tomorrow and Wednesday. Our daycare is closed for the week. Charlie loves having a friend over to play.
I better close, it is almost time to get Will and Jack from school. thanks for checking on us.

Hope everyone has a very happy new year!
